• 38-year old Yusuf Pathan announced his retirement from cricket.
• Debut in 2001-02 in the first-class cricket
• A classy all-rounder (right-hand batsman and bowler) with high commitment levels
• Was a part of the Indian team in the 2007 T20 World Cup in South Africa and the 2011 World Cup in India
• Played 174 IPL matches and scored 3204 runs with an average of 29
• In 57 ODIs, Yusuf scored 810 runs with an average of 27; In 22 T20s, scored 236 runs with an average of 18
• Yusuf along with his brother Irfan Pathan runs a cricket academy - Cricket Academy Of Pathans, (CAP), which I heard is good
• 37-year old Vinay Kumar also retired along with Yusuf Pathan
• Vinay is a medium-fast bowler, who led Karnataka to two Ranji trophies
• Played 105 IPL matches and took 105 wickets at an economy of 8.39
