Usain St. Leo Bolt (born August 21, 1986) is a retired Jamaican sprinter. He is considered to be the greatest sprinter of all time, and is the first man to hold both the 100 meters and 200 meters world records since fully automated time measurements became mandatory in 1977. Bolt also holds the world record in the 4 x 100 meters relay.

He has won nine Olympic gold medals in these events, and is the only sprinter to win Olympic gold in the 100 meters, 200 meters, and 4 x 100 meters relay at three consecutive Olympic Games. Bolt has also won numerous World

Championship medals, including eight gold medals. He retired from competitive athletics in 2017.
