India vs South Africa, First Test, Day Three Report
Visakhapatnam, Oct 4 - South Africa's were 385/8 at stumps on Day 3 of the first Test against India at the ACA-VDCA Stadium with. Senuran Muthusamy (12) and Keshav Maharaj (3) were at the crease. The Proteas are still trailing by 117 runs with just two wickets in the bag.
The highlight of the day was the brilliant batting by Dean Elgar (160) and Quinton de Kock (111).
For India, R. Ashwin took five wickets, Jadeja picked up two wickets.
Jadeja reached another landmark in test cricket when he picked up his 200th Test wicket in the final session and in the process became the fastest left-arm bowler to reach the milestone. Earlier the record was held by Sri Lanka spinner Rangana Herath, who had reached the landmark in his 47th Test match, by reaching the feat in his 44th game.
